Each dossier is about one person in a professional capacity: what they have said, in public, about how they choose investment managers. We compile it from public sources only — podcasts, recorded conference panels, published interviews and articles, and published documents such as investment policy statements and annual reports.

Every statement on a dossier is a verbatim quotation, shown with the source it came from, the date, and a link to the original. We record where every field came from. No claim is shown without its quotation, and nothing is shown before it has been reviewed. The database itself refuses to approve a quotation that does not match its source word for word.

We hold no non-public contact details and guess none. The only route to a person we ever show is one their organisation has itself published — a general enquiries page, an investor-relations address, a public profile — copied exactly from that page, with the page recorded. We do not infer email addresses from name patterns or domains, and no software of ours is permitted to.

Transcripts of third-party recordings are shown in full, with attribution and a link to the original, to members only. They are never offered for bulk download.

If you are named on a dossier and something is inaccurate, or you would rather not appear at all, write to us at support@moiglobal.com and say so. A correction is made against the source; a removal request is honoured — the page and everything compiled for it are taken down. We do not require a reason.

A manager who joins shares a few of their own investor letters or presentations. From those we build a profile of how they invest and how they write, every sentence of which cites a passage they wrote. That profile is used for exactly two things: ranking the allocators against the manager's fund, and drafting first notes in the manager's own voice. The letters and the profile are used for nothing else and shared with no one.

To build the profile, rank the allocators and write the drafts, the letters and the allocator quotations are sent to Anthropic's Claude models through Anthropic's API, under terms that exclude use of the content for training. They are sent to no other service.

The letters themselves are kept on MOI Global's own systems, not on this site. The profile built from them — including the passages it quotes — and the manager's ranking and drafts are stored in the manager's account, readable by that account only.

A manager can leave at any time by writing to support@moiglobal.com. We delete the account, which removes everything stored under it — profile, ranking, drafts, notes, logged touches, contacts and requests — and we delete the letters and every working copy we hold.

Everything a manager adds — their stage with an allocator, their notes, the touches they log, the drafts, the contacts they already know, and any request to research one of those contacts — is stored in their own account and readable by that account only, with the one exception set out below for a dossier request. This is enforced by the database, row by row, not by the application; we test it after every change to the database's access rules, with real accounts trying to read each other's rows.

If an allocator asks to be removed, their dossier is taken down and every manager's notes, logged touches, drafts and stage for that person are deleted with it.

A contact a manager adds is theirs. It is never added to the shared allocator list, never shown to another manager, and never researched unless that manager asks us to build a dossier on the person. It has no path into the shared research.

That request is the one thing a manager adds that we read, because acting on it is what it asks: it reaches us with the note and the person's name, title, organisation and LinkedIn page — enough to research the public record. Never the email address or the notes the manager keeps on them.

We send no email on anyone's behalf. A draft is text the manager copies into their own mail client, or does not. We do not connect to anyone's inbox, calendar or contacts. We do not track opens, clicks or replies, because there is nothing of ours to track.

Access is by invitation. Signing in creates an account; reading anything additionally requires that account to be on an access list we maintain by hand. Sign-in is by a link sent to your email address; we store no passwords. Data is held on Supabase in the European Union (Ireland) and the site is served by Vercel.
